Response to consultation on the UK's Global Tariff

Traidcraft Exchange’s response to the Department for International Trade’s consultation on the UK’s post-Brexit tariff policy.

This document recommends that the Government should set tariffs based upon an assessment of the needs of exporters in developing countries. In particular, tariffs should not be lowered if this would erode the trading preferences that the UK is offering to developing countries.
