UK Government's consultation on the reforming regulation initiative

June 2020

Our submission to the government’s Reforming Regulation Initiative focuses on the urgent need for new regulation to safeguard the rights of the weakest in international supply chains. We propose a law mandating UK companies to conduct human rights due diligence, and holding them accountable for abuses that do occur. And we call for stronger regulation of purchasing practices in the agricultural and garments sectors.
